Two Projects to share

Okay, so obviously I've been busy getting ready for Christmas. But I'm finally posting. I have two projects to share. The first I made for my future BIL. He plays guitar and I really like how this card turned out

The guitar is from Indie Art and the tag is from Tags, Bags, and More.

Next, I made a gift card holder for two gift cards I got for my husband. They are for movie tickets and dinner. The envelope is from Tags, bags and more (tgpkt-2) and is cut at 7", the background is from Gypsy Wanderings in the bonus layer, the flower is from Indie Art, and the font is Gypsy font. I'm going to enter this into My Pink Stampers Challenge, since I just realized it had all the right colors, a happy coincidence!

Thank You Card

My daughter's soccer season is ending this weekend so I wanted to get a little something for the coach. Here is the thank you card I came up with:

As usual the paper is all Creative Memories and retired. You can't really tell in the picture but the bird is matted with silver paper. The bird is from the Indie Art cartridge and is cut at 3". I also added a Thanks on the inside. It is from Gypsy Wanderings and is cut at 1.5"

Thanks for looking!

Halloween Page

So I'm trying to get caught up with my scrapping. This is my daughters first Halloween....back in 2007! Eek! I'm behind.

I actually merged the Halloween and 2007 on my gypsy, but the shadow wasn't bold enough to distinguish the two different patterns so I added the mat. I also used my green metallic pen to highlight the edges of the letters and the edge of the mat.

Recipe:
Cartridge is Blackletter and the letters were cut at 1.25" and slanted 0.2
Orange Dot paper, Green Dot paper, and metallic green pen are retired Creative Memories
Bat paper and Circle paper is Reminisce Halloween Collection 3
Not sure on the diagonal striped paper

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Here is my entry into the My Pink Stamper Birthday Card Challenge.

The card is for my daughter's 4th birthday, which is coming up in January. Being for a little girl I knew it had to be pink and sparkly :o)

I am a little disappointed with the picture. It seems to be making the stickles look wet rather than sparkly. Fortunately I like the card itself.

Made by Momo's Tuesday Challenge #17

Above is my creation for Made by Momo's Tuesday Challenge #17. This is my first attempt at a bag. I was a little surprised at how small the bag ended up being. Fortunately, I just wanted to put a bar of soap in it that I got for my Mom.

Recipe:
All paper is Creative Memories and probably retired now.
Brad is from Bazzill.
The bag is the gift bag from Tags, Bags, and More and is cut at 11.75"
Tag is the scalloped tag from Tags, Bags and More and is cut at 2" with a shadow
Sentiment is from Cricut Sampler and is cut at 1.4"
The butterfly and the butterfly border are from Gypsy Wanderings and were cut at 1" and 0.25", respectively.

First Cricut Project

Here it is my first "project" with the Cricut and Gypsy.

I had scrapped this page while I was waiting for my Cricut and knew I wanted to make the title with all the letters welded together. I thought I would be able to do it with the Gypsy all by myself, but so far the Gypsy hasn't been quite as intuitive as I found the Cricut to be. Therefore, I watched all of My Creative Time's How-to videos. They were really helpful and got me started on this word art. I used the Gypsy Font for the title. Here's the whole page. I need to add a journal box and a some more accents.

It is here!

My Cricut and Gypsy have arrived. I'm overwhelmed. Hopefully, I will post a pic of my first project with it tonight.
